Cancellation Policy
At GigYogi, we understand that plans change and cancellations may be necessary. However, as our service providers’ time and effort are valuable, we have established the following cancellation policy to ensure fairness to both service seekers and providers:
1. Service Seeker Cancellation
- If a service seeker cancels a booking 1 hour before the scheduled job starts, there will be no cancellation fee charged. However, service seekers who cancel a job less than 59 minutes before the scheduled job starts, they will be liable to pay for 30 minutes.
- If a service seeker cancels a booking after the job has started at the scheduled time, they will be liable to pay a minimum of 1 hour’s agreed fee or for the nearest 30-minute mark at the time of cancellation, whichever is higher. For example, if a service seeker hires a service provider for 3 hours but cancels the gig after 76 minutes, they will be liable to pay for 90 minutes.
2. Service Provider Cancellation
- If a service provider cancels a booking before the scheduled job has started, GigYogi will enable the service seeker to find a replacement service provider, failing which the service seeker will not be obligated to make any payments.
- If a service provider cancels a booking after the scheduled job has started, they will not receive any payment for the job, and GigYogi will enable the service seeker to find a replacement service provider, or the service seeker will not be obligated to make any payments.
3. Refund Policy
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used by the service seeker.
- Refunds may take up to 3-5 business days to process.
4. Non-refundable Fees
- GigYogi charges a non-refundable 10% fee from service providers. This fee will not be refunded in case of cancellation.
